Unified API call for initiating new connections

It would be great if Singly supported a unified API call to connect a given user to a new profile. The URL of the new profile to be connected would be included in the POST (which would be obtained externally).

Extra credit if it would parse the domain to determine the network the user is trying to connect to so we wouldn't also have to pass in the network name : )

Hey Justin, Thanks for the quick response! I had missed it earlier.

In re-reading this, I see my request may have been a little vague.

I should first define my terms:

User: An authenticated user of your application. (Authenticated through Singly, connected accounts, etc)

New Connection: Someone on a social network with whom that user is not yet connected.

This is to support the use case of discovering useful connections for the authenticated user, then making it easy for them to initiate that connection.

        Does that make more sense?

        Hi Reilly!

When would the user get a chance to authorize your application? The redirect is a necessary part of the security of OAuth to verify that the user owns the account on the service.
